Terms & Conditions

By becoming a client of MDK Web & Media Ltd you agree to the following terms:

You are aware that images, quotes or other mediums on any of our websites are subject to the copyright or trade mark ownerships of the respective holders, and that they at all times retain possession.

You accept that we cannot accept liability for the content or appropriateness of external websites.

Whilst we do strive to make our webpages accessible for the majority of people we cannot ensure they are so for every person, although we would be happy to help address the needs if requested.

Our service quotes are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.

We retain the right to change these terms at any time

We never impede on anyone's rights on purpose, if you feel we have in any way let us know, and we will endeavour to rectify this.

Our personal service extends to happiness with your completed project, we have yet to not impress a client.  Should you be unhappy with the design conception you need to inform us within 5 days of us presenting it to you.  Should you accept the design and then consequently request another design a charge may have to be made for the redesign, it is your responsibility to check with us the current rate.

Once a project is complete and paid for, the client gains the rights to their website, although images and other materials created by us remain our property, but will be licensed for free for the duration of usage.

MDK Web & Media Ltd reserves the right to use any part of any project as promotional material, used in any medium.

Should you decide to incorporate any other features or pages into your project (website) then this will be charged on top of the quote, we will always provide you with the cost upon request.

Where we host the website, or you have used our administration services we cannot accept responsibility for the failings of third party suppliers.

We will take regular backups of our account where your site may be hosted (if it is with us), and we will always keep the latest backup and normally 1 or 2 before that, however we cannot be held liable for any loss of data outside of our control.

Regular backups are taken by the hosting provider (UK Webhosting Ltd) and they also exercise protection againt malware or hackers.

We will not share your personal details with others without your consent (administration services often needs to use your details to complete transactions and therefore contract to to do this constitutes consent).

Should you fail to provide the appropriate content when it has been requested and we are forced to accept other work for the time lost this new work will take precedence.  Where that has been a lengthy term of non-contact (one calendar month or more) this may be taken as a withdrawal from contract by yourself, any payments made will be retained to cover the costs of work already undertaken, and any outstanding amounts will be payable immediately.

All projects will require payment for services within 28 days of your invoice date.

Any payments not received within 28 days will be subject to a £10 overdue charge for each week (7 days) or part thereof

These terms will apply to all projects unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any payment method other than cheque or BACS that incurres a cost will be the responsibility of the payee, plus a 5% charge to help cover administration.

You understand that we only hold data that enables us to contact you regarding our services, by submitting any data in any way to us you agree to this, and to that we will not pass your details on to any one outside MDK Web & Media Ltd.

The use of orangblues.co.uk email addresses is at the discretion of the user and we may withdraw your access without notice if you use the account to spam, bully or for any other illegal use.  We do not have to give reason for a change but will notify you prior to changes if it is for something beyond your control.

We do not accept responsibilty for the content of any @mdkwebmedia.co.uk email, our staff use @mdkdesign.co.uk and few people have such access, even then the views or opinions expressed are those of the sender not MDK Web & Media Ltd.
